Further details outdoors: The village is approximately 10 mins from the magnificent walled city of Kotor, with its lovely winding streets and numerous cafes, restaurants and bars in all of the squares. The vibrant night life of the city is augmented with many disco style bars and a super Disco/Karaoke bar built into the city walls which is a must, to visit. Should you wish to explore, a climb up the city walls gives a superb view of the fjord.(not for the faint hearted!) From Kotor, you can go on boat trips,take a bus to Tivat or even Budva, with its super beaches.All within an easy distance from here. Bicycle hire is readily available as is boat hire and of course, there are numerous taxis for hire. Property Description: The Boka Kotorska Fjord region Prcanj is a beautiful old stone built village and offers the holiday maker a couple of mini markets for your day to day needs, an excellent restaurant right in the centre of the village,a superb bakery offering fresh bread and cakes etc, and a Post office. Also in the centre of the village stands an example of Montenegro's fine classical architecture, the magnificent Orthodox "Church of our Lady" ajacent to the property is a new restaurant where you can dine by the waterside. Around the area are numerous historical sites well worth visiting and we definitely recommend taking a boat trip that will take you on a fascinating trip around the fjord, visiting the two islands in the middle.On one of which stands a church.Gospa od Andela. From these boats you can see the beauty of the mountains sweeping down to the crystal clear waters of the fjord and see the picturesque villages and churches that make this a really magical place to holiday in. Kotor area During the cooler period of the year, it is entirely possible to go snow-skiing in the mountains in the morning and swim in the waters of the fjord in the afternoon!! we are "open" twelve months of the year, and december is generally a lot warmer than in UK. There are numerous festivals during the year held in Kotor and surrounding area.The historical sites around the area are well worth visiting as are the various museums etc. If you wish to go further afield,then a trip down to Budva or Stefi Stefan and the outstandingly beautiful Lake Skadar (world renowned heritage sight) are not far.
